Local Music, Global Aid: The Candlelit Concert for Clean Energy
Unplugged concert benefits Gulf families and local energy efficiency

Guilt won't solve our energy problems— neither spiritually or environmentally.

Take an active role in changing the impact of energy efficiency on our lives, and enjoy an evening of guilt-free music by candlelight.

The Music Studio on Harrison Hill and St. David of Wales Episcopal Church present the Candlelit Concert for Clean Energy. The benefit begins at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 11, at 2800 SE Harrison Street in southeast Portland. General admission is $10, $7 for seniors, students, and seniors.

This event is candlelit, acoustic, and paperless. 100% of ticket price, sponsorships, and donations will benefit the causes outlined. Admission and dedicated sponsorship opportunities are available online at cc4ce.eventbrite.com or by contacting the Music Studio on Harrison Hill.

The musical lineup features Valery Saul, Scott Belleri, Joel Kleinbaum, and Christy Kuiken from the innovative Cooperating Teaching Artists program at the Music Studio on Harrison Hill; members of the Portland Peace Choir; instrumental jazz odes by Plum Sutra; local music maverick Bill Crane; and old world European folk trio Shicky Gnarowitz and The Transparent Wings of Joy, among many others.
