Hall of Records Grand Opening Sept 18th on SE Belmont St.
Hall of Records celebrates their Grand Opening at 3342 SE Belmont
Street September, 18, 2010. From 2PM to 1AM, the vinyl shop, café & bar will be
giving away T-shirts, holding raffles for vinyl and gift certificates, passing out food
samples and offering reduced priced beer and wine. 7 DJs are scheduled to play
throughout the day and dancing is highly encouraged! Reps from local Natian Brewery
and Pabst Blue Ribbon will be on site with plenty of giveaways.
Hall of Records is part of SE Belmont Street's new facelift, as it's one of 13 new
businesses opening in the area. The vinyl shop and café specializes in soul, funk and jazz
vinyl records and offers beer, wine and DJs almost every night of the week. The shop is
the third business to open in the past few weeks, behind Splendid Cycles and Dick's
Kitchen.

Hall of Records is a vinyl shop, café & bar located at 3342 SE Belmont St. Portland, OR
97214. The hybrid business was created to be a social atmosphere to listen and discover
new music. Offerings include local draft beer, wine, Courier coffee, sandwiches, wifi
and most importantly, vinyl. The shop specializes in soul, funk, jazz, Latin, hip hop,
deep funk and rare groove records, with DJs playing almost every night. All records are
unsealed and can be played on two listening stations or through the DJ booth.
