F Stop, Don't Stop is a group art show presented by Kerosene Rose at De Nada Gallery, located in Los Gorditos Restaurant at SE 12th & SE Division. The show runs from September 3rd, 2010 to September 29th, 2010. The opening reception is First Friday September 3rd, 2010 from 5pm-9pm. De Nada Gallery is open Monday through Saturday 7am-9pm & Sunday 7am-3pm.
Inspired by the darkroom, light & type, F-Stop, Don't Stop is reminiscent of watching art blossom in chemicals, finding comfort in a damp dark room, vintage type treatments & how light reveals all we see.
Featuring Kathleen Marie, Tori Abernathy, Lacey Ward, Glamb, Marc Saleme, Mary Sapp, Matthew Yodis, Misha Ashton, Sarah Seltzer, Tim Combs & Dan Dennison with a collaborative darkroomesque installation by Kerosene Rose & Tim Combs.
De Nada is a new community-focused gallery, & is delighted to have the opportunity to bring amazing art to the every day lives of people. Kerosene Rose is a young photographer / artist, who has found the darkroom to be a place of comfort & magic since first sight at age 16. F Stop, Don't Stop is Kerosene Rose's first time curating an art show & creating an installation. She is excited to present this show & looks forward to many more.
