Passionately curated by beloved Portland musician Rachel Blumberg, the second annual Two-Timer Art Show features a delightful selection of drawings, paintings, collage and photography created by 13 noted musicians from Portland and far beyond who are two-timing their primary craft of music with a dynamic array of visual art.
Show curatrix and multi-talented musician Rachel Blumberg (Mirah, M. Ward, The Decemberists, Bright Eyes, Norfolk & Western, Arch Cape) selected a handful of her favorite musician/artists to contribute both artwork and their thoughts about the creative process and struggles with the duality of being driven to make both art and music.
Two-Timer 2010 opens in conjunction with Mississippi Studiosʼ new Whiskey Lounge, a cozy spot for show patrons to relax and enjoy a delicious beverage, housed upstairs in the former Mississippi Studiosʼ ofï¬ce space.

Arch Cape
Arch Cape is Rachel Blumbergsʼ newest project, where she emerges from behind the drum kit to wield marimba, keyboards and her signature sparkling vocals to make her own brand of pitched -percussion heavy chamber pop featuring marimbas, glockenspiels, xylophones, melodic bass lines, and soaring harmonies. This show features the trio version of the band, with accompaniment by notable Portland musicians Seth Mankoski (Oh Captain, My Captain) and Michael Kitson (Y La Bamba).
