August 20 & 21 in Hood River – Delicious summer fruits are available in abundance throughout the Hood River County Fruit Loop, and now a variety of fruits including berries, peaches, apples, and nectarines (along with a wide range of fresh vegetables) are at the peak of perfection.
August 19 & 20 @ Green Zebra – Come taste over a dozen organic and heirloom tomatoes, along with local basil, local mozzarella, and Oregon’s only locally made olive oil. There will also be a Los Roast green chile roasting!
August 27 – Upon arrival at your Ultimate Tequila Adventure you will be dropped at The Tequila Hideaway. Wear some walking shoes and enjoy a path through the woods that will reveal 12 fine sipping tequilas to sample of (all tequilas retail for a minimum of $35 and max of $180 per bottle).
Fridays in August @ Bar Vivant – Fridays in August join Espacio Flamenco and Bar Vivant for lively flamenco performances in the courtyard. Each week we will feature a different producer at the outdoor sherry bar.

August 19 & 20 @ Barrel Room – Dueling pianos is a great group party concept if (and only if) you get the right players in the correct venue. Mission Accomplished. Since 2010, The Barrel Room lays claim to the longest running dueling piano shows in Portland.
The 2016 Portland Adult Soap Box Derby is Saturday at Mount Tabor Park. It is a huge event that everyone should check out at least once. Over 5,000 people attended. It’s free to attend, and you are allowed to bring beer, wine, and food (no hard alcohol).

The event serves up 55 organic beers, meads and ciders from more than 40 breweries. Some of the products are certified organic, but many participants brew a one-off organic batch just for the event.
