Block + Press
is a woodcut artist based in Milwaukie who explores the intersection of nature and mysticism through her work. Deeply inspired by the rhythms of tidal shifts, lunar cycles, and seasonal changes, she creates pieces that examine themes of death, flora, fauna, and the occult. By deliberately preserving the unique grain and texture of each piece of wood while introducing contrasting spray paint gradients, her work creates a compelling dialogue between the organic and the artificial. This juxtaposition is a reflection of the seen and unseen forces that add magic to our world.

Joe Calkins

He began his artistic journey doing mostly mural painting and fantasy/sci-fi illustrations for book covers and the gaming industry. He has been developing a loose acrylic painting style using bold primary colors over the past several years
